Child & Adolescent Therapy
Helping children and teens build confidence, resilience, and emotional awareness.
Overview
Children and adolescents experience the world differently. Therapy helps them express themselves, understand their emotions, and develop healthy coping skills.
At Pathways to Integrative Psychology, I provide specialized therapy for children and teenagers dealing with emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. I also support parents through coaching and collaboration to ensure consistent progress at home and school.
My Approach
Sessions are tailored to each child’s developmental stage and emotional needs. Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Positive Behavior Support, and the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), I create a safe and supportive space where children can learn to identify feelings, communicate effectively, and develop problem-solving skills.
Focus Areas:
- Emotional regulation and self-esteem
- Behavioral challenges and impulsivity
- Anxiety, mood, or adjustment issues
- Family or school-related difficulties
- Parenting support and guidance
Outcome:
Empowered children and families who understand each other better — and the tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
